Licia Ronzulli, an MEP from Italy, took her seven-week old daughter Victoria to work at the European parliament this week at Strasbourg. And this wasn’t even Take-Your-Child-to-Work day. She kept her baby carefully cradled against her in a sling and occasionally leant to kiss her on the forehead. Photographs of Ronzulli cradling her daughter in a sling as she voted on proposals to improve women’s employment rights were broadcast around the world and published in newspapers from the US to Vietnam.
Totally doing this when I have a baby.

This mom calls herself “The Human Barbie” and has been giving her daughter plastic surgery vouchers for presents.
After seeing her on Anderson Coopers’ Ridiculist I decided to look into the story a bit more. Apparently the mother’s fascination with surgery started when she was still in elementary school with a procedure meant to fix what she refers to as a “deformity” - a sticking out ear. But what really caught my attention is what happened to her later in life.
A victim of extreme domestic abuse, she was severely beaten, leaving her with injuries that included a broken jaw, cheek, and eye socket. She talked about how for 6 years after the incident she felt ugly and disfigured. Therefore pushing her desire to open a plastic surgery consultation office into hyper drive.
Now with over million dollars worth of work done she says she is happy. Makes me wonder if there was anyway someone could have helped her achieve that before she pulled, pricked, plucked, and pumped up every inch of her body.
